By November 10, 2022News

According to the tenth edition of the ENISA Threat Landscape (ETL) report, malware targeting IoT almost doubled. Mirai botnets were responsible for most attacks, Mozi, another large botnet, coming in second. The most common IoT targets were networking devices such as Netgear (DGN), D-Link (HNAP), and Dasan (GPON).

DDoS has been moving towards mobile networks and IoT. DDoS attacks were often launched from compromised servers or consumer devices, such as IoT products and broadband routers.
