As the end of 2022 is approaching, we have prepared an overview about the milestones the IoTAC project reached this year.
Milestone No. 3: Completion of the IoTAC architecture design – 1st version in February 2022. The Deliverable D2.3 “Architecture Design Document” presented the approach for extending the ISO/IEC 30141 reference architecture, the resulting IoTAC Reference Model (RM), the system architecture concept, and the models for logical and system run-time & deployment viewpoints. Milestone No. 4: Launch of the IoTAC Association in April 2022. The IoTAC Association was established as planned with the main objective to represent and diffuse the project’s results. You can read about the Association and join here.
Milestone No. 5: Completion of the first development cycle in Apr 2022. The core functionality of the IoTAC modules has been implemented and the work started on the module interactions as well as on the integration work with the pilot operators.
Milestone No. 6: Finalized IoTAC architecture in August 2022. The IoTAC architecture concept and design work have been completed with some changes implemented on the initial version based on the early validation results. The pilots are implementing the related technology.
Milestone No. 7: Completion of the second development cycle for all architecture components in December 2022. The technology providers have reached another step in their development activities, by completing the implementation of new features necessary for the more complex demonstration activities.
